The torture of having a sister
So I'm working outside ... front of house and I hear some girl commotion. I look up my driveway and Bryson has obviously agreed being an Addison Salon customer since business has been slow. I've heard it all too like "I'm going to follow that beautiful boy" to "your hair is so beautiful" and "you look so cute". I am now convinced she is having a 'I want a sister' syndrome.
I had a bad dream
Getting ready to go to bed and thinking about what is in store for me (daddy) personally in the next 24 hours ... and I have decided to expect/plan for another cute irresistible moment via my son. He has been coming into our bedroom very late night / early morning about 1x-2x weekly with this statement - "Daddy, I taked a bad nap". When much younger, we would be woken up by crying, hurry to their bedroom and ask many times, "Did you have a bad dream?" First, regardless of what he actually is saying it is super-hard to say no and second, he says it like he has been awake for 30 minutes and rehearsed it before coming into our bedroom. On two different occasions I've had the strength to resist by directing him back to his bed but the more I hear him say it, the more I give in. Here's to predicting another "Daddy, I taked a bad nap" night. What Daddy could actually resist?
