After losing the water gun race yet with sharpshooter precision I had about given up. Then Bryson decided he could do it. I put him in my lap, held his hands steady, yet no sharpshooter precision this round and voila ... we won! When asked by the carney what I wanted I announced Hello Kitty and heard excitement out of my baby girl. Hello Kitty and daddy got big hugs!
One day later after saving a draft of this ...... Kim and I are headed to Poetry, Texas this weekend. Not for any reading event but to stay with Chief Chicken Cooker John McKenzie, go to the State Fair, Texas OU game and, per my daughter's request, win a pretty animal.
Two weeks ago Mr. CCC suggested we take kids to the fair on opening day which just so happened to be the day after we all went to see the Rangers play Oakland. I think you could say that we were 2 and a half men and a girlie girl. More to come. Stay posted.
